DOROTHY F. HUX

Dorothy Faye Hux, 94, of Junction City passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Olive Branch Methodist Church near Junction City with interment to follow in the Church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to7:00 P.M. Monday evening, November 19, 2018 at Young’s.

Memorials may be made to Olive Branch Cemetery Assn., 412 Mt.

Obituaries JAMES BRADFORD JR.

James Bradford, Jr. was born on June 19, 1926, in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was the son of the late James Bradford, Sr. and Gracie Williams. He departed this life peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Life Touch Hospice.

On July 18, 1949, he married the love of his life, Inez Knighten. They were married for 63 years until her death. To this union, three children were born.

He was drafted into the United States Army in 1946. After completing his military obligation­s, he returned to El Dorado. Upon graduating from Washington High School, he attended Arkansas AM&N College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Education. He worked in the El Dorado School District until his retirement.

James accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with New Bethel Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Inez Bradford; son, Albert Bradford; two brothers, Clifford Bradford and Robert A. Bradford; and one sister, Lois Brown.

He leaves to cherish wonderful memories his daughter, Barbara Cutter of El Dorado, Arkansas, and one son, James Bradford, III (Letri) of Georgetown, South Carolina; one brother, Robert L. Bradford, of Portland, Oregon; five grandchild­ren; Nikola Jones (Henry), Brandon Cutter (Sharjuana), Edmund Bradford (Jazzmine), Jarrett Bradford (Angela), and Nicholas Bradford; nine great grandchild­ren, Kawahn, Naomi, Kwali, Tyja, Heaven, Hayden, Collyn, Trinity, Zuria, Raelyn, and Karter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at New Bethel Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with pastor Bobby Patterson officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Lott Burgy Cemetery, El Dorado, Arkansas. Public visitation will be held at Andrews Funeral Home on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

CHARLES E. MILLER

Charles Edward Esco Miller of Junction City, AR went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 15, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Charles was born December 27, 1965 to Brodie Esco Miller and Dianne Faye (Sue West) Tanton Green. He was one of the best diesel mechanics in Union County starting out at Taylor and Lee right out of High school. He was last employed by Jerry Blackmon in Junction City.

He was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Berry Gene West; paternal grandparen­ts, Jesse James Miller and Mary Eunice Ramsey; maternal grandparen­ts, Henry Edward Tanton and Maudie Mae Jones Tanton; and two brothers, David Hess Miller and Berry Edward West.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Dianne Faye Green (Sue West) of Calion, AR; three sisters, Carolyn (Rickey) Whatley of Junction City, AR, Barbara (Eddy) Monk of Spearsvill­e, LA, Betty (Michael) Batterton of Choudrant, LA; four brothers, Jesse Miller of Junction City, AR, James (Michelle) Ray of Farmervill­e, Joseph (Lindsey) West of Farmervill­e, LA, and Danny (Jennifer) Winfrey of Shongaloo, LA; two uncles, Glenn Tanton and William Tanton; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Ingle, Daniel Ingle, Christophe­r Miller, Savannah Miller Sweet, Amber Ray Burks, Stephen Ray, Nicholas Miller, Matthew Miller, McKennzie West, Autum West, Matthew Whatley, Daniel Whatley, Maddy West, and Cody Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Spearsvill­e, LA.
