Obituaries

DELAINE WAGNON

Delaine Wagnon of Little Rock, formerly of El Dorado left this world behind on November 18, 2018.

She was welcomed home by her parents, Delbert Wagnon and Gladean Wagnon and her nephew Johnny Hughes Jr.

Delaine was a member of Holy Ground Church in Little Rock Arkansas. When she was in El Dorado, she attended Cross Life where she was a member of SHIFT. She loved to talk about the Lord and considered her brothers and sisters in Christ, her extended family.

Those who knew her affectionately called her “Laine Bug”-except for mistakenly being called “Love Bug” by a niece. “Love Bug” may have been an even more appropriate name for her. She had a kind heart and embodied the spirit of Jesus’s generosity. She LOVED to give and did so often, even sometimes when it took her last dollar. She couldn’t bear to come home for a visit without a truckload of presents. She was full of compliments and meant it when she gave them. She was a kid at heart and was always the life of the party with her jokes and stories.

Like her nickname, she was one of a kind and will be missed tremendously. We are so grateful for the promise of Heaven and know we will see her again.

She leaves behind her beloved dachshund, Fancy, a sister, Debbie (Hughes) Dowty; a brother, Danny Wagnon (Becky); a nephew, Robert Wagon (Stacey, Emma, John T); two nieces Danna Taylor (Matt, Hudson, Cole) and Shari Hughes (Johnny); a great niece, Lacey Hughes Nutt (Jonathan, Gracin, Lincoln, Dawson); a great nephew, John Hughes (Danielle Barrett); a special friend, Pam Humble who was more like a sister, and many other friends who were more like family.

Come join us in a celebration of her life at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Cross Life Church in El Dorado.
