PARKERS CHAPEL - Parkers Chapel opened league play Tuesday with the senior Lady Trojans posting a 49-28 win over Woodlawn. PC improved to 2-4 overall.

Kamyrn Cross led the Lady Trojans with a career-high 21 points, including 17 in the second half. T.K. Burson chipped in with 11.

“I thought our girls come out ready to play tonight. We had a lot of energy and lots of enthusiasm. It was a total team effort,” said PC coach Justin Welch. “Kamryn Cross had a break out game for us tonight. I knew it was just a matter of time before she performed like she did. She has been putting in a lot of time on her own, outside of practice and it paid off tonight. She was running the court well and our guards were looking to push the tempo. It was a good combination. I'm very proud of the girls tonight and obviously, it always feels good to get a conference win.”
