Garbage bags for sale at new recycling location

The city of El Dorado is now selling its garbage bags at the new recycling drop-off center at 401 Liberty, which is behind Barton Junior High School at the intersection of Liberty and Cordell.

The center opened Feb. 6, relocating from the former site at Lester and Columbia behind Aryb’s.

Garbage-bag sales were subsequently moved from City Hall to the new drop-off center.

The facility provides a drive-thru service, with the entrance on Liberty and the exit on Robinson.

Hours for the dropoff center are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday — Saturday.
