Reminder of Services ROBERT LOWE

The funeral for Robert Lowe, 82, of Magnolia, will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, February 15 at A.C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, 614 Calhoun Rd., Magnolia, AR, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Burial will follow in 23 Psalm Cemetery, Magnolia.

Calling hours will be Thursday, February 14 from 12:00 noon - 4:00 pm at Henderson’s Mortuary, 614 Calhoun RD, Magnolia, AR.

Eric Vincent Evans was born October 30, 1960 to Rev. Robert Lee Evans and Jewel Baker Evans. He passed on February 8, 2019 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He is survived by three sisters, Mildred Hall (Curtis) Los Angelas, CA, Vi Sledge Sacramento, CA, and Lue Evans Shreveport, LA. MEREDITH FORD LEWIS

Meredith Ford Lewis, beloved mother, wife and sister, was born on March 20, 1945 in El Dorado, AR. She lived in Junction City, AR the duration of her life until her passing on January 21, 2019. She met her husband William (Billy) Lewis at Junction City High School in the early 60s, and they were married in 1965. Meredith was the love of his life, a devout Christian, and a wonderful mother to their only daughter. She was a long time employee of Murphy Oil Corporatio­n, and was beloved by her coworkers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Louise Campbell Ford; and her brother, Brian Lane Ford. She is survived by her husband, William C (Billy) Lewis of Wesson, AR; daughter, Marisa Claire Lewis, of Paola, KS; siblings, Michael Ford, Myron Ford, Regina Ford Adams and Darrell Ford; many precious nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her beloved Grand cat, Brigitte Lewis. A celebratio­n of life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, 6905 Haynesvill­e Hwy, El Dorado, AR 71730 under the direction of Youngs Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to UCAPS, P.O. Box 204, 1000 Sunset Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.

MARTHA J. MCDONALD MARTLING

Martha Jean McDonald Martling, 83, was born January 10, 1936 in Mt. Holly, Arkansas and earned her wings on February 8, 2019. She worked at the National Bank of Commerce in El Dorado, AR for 20 years, then at Cleburne County Bank in Heber Springs, AR for 15 years. As everyone knows, Jean never met a stranger and always had a ready smile and a kind word. She enjoyed visiting with friends, dancing, shopping and gardening. Jean was a volunteer and a generous supporter of various charities. She loved God, her family and friends. Jean will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Martha Jean was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clyde McDonald; and her husbands Hebert Rook and Dewey Martling. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Mary Ann Liles; her sons Greg and Don Rook; her grandchild­ren Gina Anselmi and Wesley Rook; her great-grandchild­ren and her nieces. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Olmstead Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Criswell officiatin­g. Interment will follow at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Other Side, 23 Clint Lane, Wilburn, AR 72179.
