GAYLE MARLAR WILLIAMS
Gayle Marlar Williams, 71, of El Dorado, passed away, Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born June 29, 1948 to Hilton Alfred and Edna Lee Weems Marlar in Magnolia, AR. She was a member of West Side Baptist
Church. She had many fond memories and formed close friendships when she worked for the El Dorado
School District, El Dorado
Chemical Company, and
Mattox Construction over the years. Preceding her in death are her parents; and brother, Joe Barry Marlar.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Williams of
El Dorado; daughter, Marla
Mitchell and her husband, Steven of Lake Charles, LA; and two grandchildren, Nolan and Nora Mitchell. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Young’s. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Cody Lain and Nelson Post officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
