Betty Lou Bibby of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of El Dorado passed away on July 14, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.

Kenneth Alen Cates age 62 of Lillie, LA passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence. Kenny was born on March 30, 1957 in Union
County, AR to Donna Sue
Webb Cates and Gordon
Edwin Cates.
Kenny was a paving machine operator for Jet
Asphalt, serving thirty plus years before his retirement.
He was a hard, working man and especially enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father
Survivors include; his mother, Donna Sue Cates of
Little Rock; his wife, Debra Cates of Lillie, LA; one son, Wesley Cates and wife Leslie of El Dorado; one grandson, Micah Cates of El Dorado; four brothers, Terry Cates of Three Creeks, Steve Cates of El Dorado, Joey Cates of Norphlet and Danny “Peanut” Cates of Hot Springs; one sister, Donna McDonald of Little Rock; his two K9 Companions, Bo Bo and Rudy along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Smith officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

HERSCHEL L. “COWBOY” JACKSON
Herschel L. “Cowboy” Jackson, 71, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence.
Born April 26, 1948 in
Harrison, Arkansas, he was the son of Elbert Benton
Jackson and Nova Erma
Cavender. Herschel was a member of the North
American Hunting Club and was known to many as a jack-of-all-trades. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Herschel worked as a truck driver for most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Faye Hedrick Jackson; one son, William Lee “Billy” Jackson; and brothers, Bobby Dale Jackson and Jeffrey Ray Jackson.
Herschel is survived by his son, Chris Jackson (Kim) of El Dorado; a sister, Carolyn Warren of El Dorado; brothers, Ronnie Eugene Jackson of Harrison, Gary Lynn Inman (Missy) of Green Forest, Randy Inman of Dubach, Louisiana, and Leslie Lloyd Inman (Cheryl) of Rogers; one grandchild, Joshua Lee Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will host a gathering Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at 800 W Oak St, El Dorado. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors of Distinction.

DAVID A. JOHNSTON
David A. Johnston, age 61 of Springdale, Arkansas died on June 30, 2019 of a heart attack.
David was born on July 2, 1957 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was the youngest son of William Peary Johnston, Jr., and Dorothy Sue Bryant Johnston.
He graduated from Norphlet High School and served in the military for a short time before attending the
University of Arkansas at
Fayetteville. He was employed by KNWA? KFTA television station in Fayetteville, at times operating a camera or a teleprompter. He enjoyed watching Razorback sports.
He also loved cooking, specifically for those coworkers.
His cheerful personality was appreciated by everyone and he had his own special laugh.
He will be missed by all those who loved him. Davie was an organ donor, so even in death he was serving others. Before he passed on into eternity, he gave his heart to Jesus.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother William “Bud” Johnston of Grand Cane, Louisiana. Survivors include his brother Gene Johnston and his wife Hilde of Hot Springs, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
David was cremated and his family will hold a private memorial service at a future date. MARK ALLEN SPEIGHTS
Mark Allen Speights, 60, of El Dorado, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2019. He was born May 13, 1959 to the late Clinton Henry and Molly Francis Speights.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Tony, Lloyd, Jim, and Marna.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; children, Kristen Crawford (Dewayne), Jennifer McManus (Chip), Darrick Speights (Haley), Nikki Telford, and step-son, Jamie Bilbo; and eight grandchildren he loved dearly.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services with be Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Perry’s Funeral Chapels with Sye Duke officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
