NOTICE OF PASSING ROBERT FRAZIER

Robert Frazier, 66, of Benton and formerly of El Dorado, passed away on Feb. 24, 2020, at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilita­tion in Benton. Cremation services were handled by Andrews Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service, beginning at 10 a.m.

FULL OBITUARIES BILLIE SUE STARK

Billie Sue Stark, 94, of Garfield and formerly of El Dorado, passed away Feb. 19, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Garfield.

Born Feb. 23, 1925 in

El Dorado, she was the daughter of John Estes and Ruby Ann Frances

Cheek Reese. She lived in

El Dorado until the fifth grade and the family moved to Mt. Pleasant, Texas, where she met the love of her life, William A. (Bill)

Stark. She moved back to

El Dorado her senior year in high school and she and

Bill married in El Dorado on June 12, 1942.

She worked as an oil and gas accountant for more than 50 years in the office of William P. Cook and Associates. She became a member of Parkview Baptist Church on Sept. 10, 1947 and in July 2014 she moved to Garfield to live with her daughter and son-in-law for health reasons.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband; a son, Robert Estes Stark; and her sister, Faynelle Taylor.

Survivors include her son, William Alvin (Al) Stark Jr. (Charlotte) of Marietta, Georgia; her daughter, Judy Bell (Bill) of Garfield; and grandchild­ren, John Martin Bell (Carolyn) of Garfield, Christa Burton (Tommy) of Rogers, Dr. Whitney Denton (Mike) of Marietta, Georgia, Nathan Stark (Kristen) of Marietta, Georgia, Nicole Leveritt (Mike) of El Dorado and Heather Stark (Clayton O'Dell) of El Dorado. Surviving great-grandchild­ren are Denver Bell (Bre), Destani Ramirez (Michael), Preston Burton, Patrick Burton, Ashton Burton, Thomas Burton, Kole Stark, Ansley Denton, Addie Denton, Amelia Denton, Dakota Williams, Drake Leveritt, Laci Leveritt and Jesse O'Dell, along with two great-great grandchild­ren, Shaylynn Bell and Riley Bell, and special friend, W. L. Cook.

Visitation for friends and family will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at Parkview Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tommy Robertson officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

ELSIE KENNEDY WARNOCK

Elsie Kennedy Warnock, 88, of Van Buren, formerly of El Dorado, died on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 in Van Buren at Legacy Heights Retirement Center.

Elsie was the daughter of Edgar Vernon Kennedy and Rosa Campbell Kennedy.

She grew up in Camden and Hot Springs, graduating from Ouachita Baptist University and earned a masters at Louisiana Tech.

Elsie was an educator in the El Dorado School District and at The Center for the Handicappe­d.

Elsie served in the Immanuel Baptist Church Library for many years. She was on the Hudson Nursing Home Board for 12 years and served one term as president of the Little Theater Board of the South Arkansas Art Center. Elsie was a member of the El Dorado Civitan Club. In 1979, she was selected by the YWCA as El Dorado's Profession­al Woman of the Year.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Reese and twin Leslie Kennedy; a sister Louise Tubbs; and her husband, James C. Warnock.

Survivors are a son, Jim Warnock (Becca) of Alma; a daughter, Martha Baker Kyzer (Larry) of Alexander; grandchild­ren, Jeremy Baker, Christen Warnock, Anna Warnock Lucas (Taylor) and Amber Baker Anderson (Shannon); and great-grandchild­ren, Jenna, Zoe and Riley Anderson, Jesiah Baker, and Samuel Lucas, along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Young's Funeral Home in El Dorado. Memorial service will be at Young's Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m. with Gary Glasgow officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Camden.

MICHAEL SCOTT WARD

Michael Scott Ward passed away unexpected­ly on Feb. 22, 2020 at the age of 49 while driving a HazMat truck for Martin Transport.

Michael was born May 19, 1970 to Thomas and Patsy Ward. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1989, and from there joined the USMC.

Michael had many hardships in his life which never kept him down. He had love and compassion for his dogs. He had a big heart and was always there to help anyone in need. He learned from his hardships which made him the wonderful person that he was. He will be missed by his devoted sister with whom he shared so much with. He was of the Baptist faith. Michael is now at peace and his struggles are over.

Michael is survived by one son, Garrett Ward of El Dorado; one sister, Tina Rudder Coffman (Stacey) of El Dorado; aunt, Paula Burns (Robert) of Strong; uncles, Gary and Larry Stinson (Debbie) of El Dorado; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held this Thursday, Feb. 26, 2020 at Perry's Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m, with services held on Friday at 1 p.m., followed by graveside service at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
