CHARLES DAVID COPELAND
Charles David Copeland, 77, of Norphlet passed away March 21, 2020 at his home. He was born March 13, 1943 to the late C.H. (Bob) and Jessie Copeland.
David was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as hunting, fishing and gardening. David was well known for his ability to smoke meats.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bobbie Mitchell.
David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Copeland; sons, Allen Copeland and Bobby Joe Copeland; sisters, Teresa Swint (James) and Linda Reynolds (Ronnie); brother-in-law, Johnnie Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 3387 N Wyatt Drive, El Dorado, Arkansas, 71730. Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings there will be no public visitation or services at this time.
BETTY ANN MILLER
Heaven received an angel. Betty Ann Miller, age 87, of El Dorado, AR, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Advanced Health and Rehabilitation.
Betty was born on October 27, 1932 in Curtis, AR, the daughter of Herbert
John and Lola Mae
Eakin Holloway. She was retired from First
National Bank (Bancorp
South) after 40 years of faithful service and was an active member of Immanuel Baptist
Church. She enjoyed gardening and playing in the dirt with her flowers, entertaining friends in her home, traveling, spending time with family and her grandkids. Betty loved those Razorback Hogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert Cecil “Bob” Miller.
She is survived by one son, John Michael Miller (Karen) of El Dorado; three brothers, Herman Lorenzal Holloway, John Edward Holloway (Shirley) all of Bryant, AR, and Thomas Allen Holloway (Marilyn) of Bentonville, AR. Along with two grandchildren, Andrea Seeman (Randy) of Stephenville, TX and John Rowland Miller of El Dorado; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
