MAUDINE HAMPTON RUSSELL
Maudine Hampton Russell, 94 of El Dorado passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at her residence.
Born August 16, 1925 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Melvin and Trudy Goodwin Hampton. Mrs. Russell was a retired bookkeeper with Hampton and
Crain Construction
Company, and was a member of Wyatt
Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Edd Russell, granddaughters, Lori
Taylor and Beverly
Taylor, her brothers, Leroy Hampton,
John L. Hampton, and Jack Hampton along with sisters, Louise Forbish, Sybil Hampton and Betty Weller.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gail Parks (Ralph) of Arlington, Texas, Bonnie (Bonita) Taylor (Derrell)Crossett, AR; three granddaughters, Stephanie Mulkey (Greg) of Kennedale, TX, LeAnne Vossen of Arlington, TX, Lisa Liberis (James) of Frisco, TX; and 5 great-grandchildren, Holton Mulkey, Nicholas Vossen, Noah Vossen, Alexandra Liberis, and Priscilla Liberis.
In keeping with the Center of Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings there will be no public visitation or services at this time. Arrangements for a memorial service may be announced at a later date.
A special thank you is extended by the family to Mrs. Russell’s caregivers, Ann Grayson, Thelma Whatley, Catherine Heard and Willie Mae Dawson along with the staff of Life Touch Hospice.
Floral offerings may be delivered to Young’s
Funeral Director by 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May
21, 2020.
