DOYCE L. BRIDGES

Doyce L. Bridges, 72, of Parkers Chapel, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR, with his family by his side. Doyce was born on December 22, 1947 in Union County to the late Ruby Noel Fitzgerald Bridges and Harvey Carson Bridges.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. today at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. today at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Larry Hudson officiatin­g. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.

MYRA L. NELSON

Myra L. Nelson, 90 of El Dorado, AR formerly of Crossett, AR; died on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Born on November 23, 1929 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of Johnnie Harrison White and Thelma Davis White.

A homemaker, Myra was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Crossett. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son

Carl Edward Nelson and her husband of 68 years Carl Raymond ‘Buddy’ Nelson.

Survivors are a daughter Karla D Nelson and a son Greg Nelson (Cheryl) all of El Dorado. Along with two sister in laws Rena Simmons of Pine Bluff and Helen Ross (Carroll) of Monticello.

In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommenda­tions regarding public gatherings there will be no public visitation or services at this time. There will be private family graveside at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
