Jordan Watson, daughter of David and Lori Watson of Arkansas, is a member of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and a setter on the Lady Cat volleyball team. She plans to become a firefighte­r and paramedic upon graduating.

Joseph Jackson, son of Dorris Miles of El Dorado, is a member of the track and field team. He has earned certificat­ion in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. He plans to attend South Arkansas Community College to study welding.

Joseph Jackson, son of LaVesha Franklin and Joe Jackson of El Dorado, is a member of the Wildcat track and field team, where he earned second place in the 40x800 relay. He has achieved Excellence in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powepoint He plans to attend Southern Arkansas University.

Julia Peace, daughter of Carol and Bill McLemore of El Dorado, is a member of Student Council, Steering Committee and Global Classroom and the EHS softball team. She plans to attend Southern Arkansas University.

Kaden Jones, son of Kevin Jones and Tim and Kelly Jones-Wilson of El Dorado, is a member of Quest Guild and formerly participat­ed as a Cadet in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. He has received concurrent credit at South Arkansas Community College in the subjects of United States and World History and Oral Communicat­ions; he also studied in Advanced Placement courses, including English, English Literature, Physics, Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. He plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to study business, then continue his education at the University of Arkansas at Hope to attain his certificat­ion in Mortuary Science. He hopes to eventually own his own mortuary business and branch out into different fields of business.

Kalin Benjamin, daughter of Courtney Benjamin of Strong and Bobby Benjamin of Gardena, California, is involved in tutoring and is a classroom volunteer. She plans to join the United States Army and become a Chaplain’s assistant.

Karlee Cessor, daughter of Ernie and Julie Tillman, is a member of the Steering Committee and Future Business Leaders of America. She plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to study biology.

Kaylee Otwell, daughter of Jackie and Billy Cross of El Dorado, plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to study exercise science.

Kenadi Savannah,

daughter of Brittany Maddox and Rodney Savannah of El Dorado, has been awarded the L.C. & Hazel Ross Memorial Scholarshi­p ($500). She is a member of Student Council, Steering Committee, Southern Arkansas University Upward Bound, National Honor Society and the Varsity cheerleadi­ng team, for which she is a two-year Letterman. She is also a foreign language completer. She plans to attend the University of Houston to study political science.

Kendra Frazier, daughter of Tonya and Anthony Frazier, has been awarded 100% of the El Dorado Promise scholarshi­p. She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, DECA, eXtreme Youth Programs and the Upward Bound Trio Program. She is the Vice President of Finance for DECA and placed second in Entreprene­urship and third in Graphic Design categories in an FBLA competitio­n. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to study business with a minor in graphic design.

Kenneth E. Frazier, Jr.,

son of Catina and Kenneth Frazier, Sr., was a member of the football team and football filming crew in ninth grade. He plans to attend South Arkansas Community College to study welding.

Lacy Allen, daughter of Chuck and Sherry Allen of El Dorado, has been awarded the Arkansas Challenge scholarshi­p. She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Key Club and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. She also earned the title of Yearbook Editor and maintained a 3.8 grade point average. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to study speech pathology.

LaDiamond Maker,

daughter of Jennifer Maker of El Dorado, has been awarded the Hazel C. & Lester C. Ross Scholarshi­p for African-Americans ($500) and the Dennis James Scholarshi­p for the Performing Arts ($2,000). She is a four-year Lady Cat basketball team member and serves as Team Captain and was one of the starting five players; she has been recognized for her skill on the court with the Joe Blackman, Hustle and Freshman of the Year awards. She competed in the 2017 state tournament and is a three-year Letterman. She is also on the Lady Cat track team, which she was recruited onto as a freshman, and is a four-year Letterman, as well as a four-time State and Conference runner. She also participat­ed in the state Heptathalo­n. She was Freshman Maid her freshman year. She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Beta Club, National Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success and Arkansas Scholars. She is graduating in the top 10% of her class. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas, to study theater, film and business.

Lauren May, daughter of Ben and Jennifer May of El Dorado, has been awarded the Scott Foundation 4H Scholarshi­p ($500), the Ruth Nodini Career and Technical Education Scholarshi­p ($3,000) and the DKG Alpha Recruitmen­t Scholarshi­p ($800). Lauren is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, 4-H, DECA, Future Business Leaders of America. She also participat­ed in dance for 15 years. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to study special education with an emphasis on dyslexia.

Mary Brumley, daughter of Kenneth O. Brumley of El Dorado and Michelle Hicks of Alexandria, La. She said she found her interests, including in Advanced Placement Art, and excelled in them during school. She plans to attend South Arkansas Community College to study nursing.

Miguel Angel, Jr., son of Miguel Olivar and Angeles Ramos of El Dorado, plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to study mechanical engineerin­g.

Miles Davis Jennings,

son of Shaun Jennings of Jacksonvil­le, Illinois and Candi Jennings of Bismarck, Ark., is a member of DeMolay Internatio­nal and participat­es in the EHS Band and the El Dorado Jazz Cats. He was installed as the State Master Councilor for DeMolay in 2019 and was recognized as All-Region Band in ninth through 12th grades and as All-Region Jazz in 11th and 12th grades. He plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study multimedia journalism.

Odalis Villegas, daughter of Juan Carlos and Maria Villegas has been awarded a University of Arkansas Scholarshi­p ($5,000), the Arkansas Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages Scholarshi­p ($4,000) and the Dr. Hilary E. Hanna Kiwanis Scholarshi­p ($500). She is a member of the Arkansas Student Leader Initiative, the Young Democrats, the Union County Democratic Committee and the Steering Committee. She is also an AP Scholar. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas to study political science.

Peyton Griffin, son of Cathey Griffin of Camden, Ark. and Craig Griffin of Parkers Chapel has been awarded the Louisiana Tech University Presidenti­al Scholarshi­p ($9,000 per year) and Bulldog scholarshi­p (out of state fees waived). He is a two-year Wildcat football Letterman. He plans to attend Louisiana Tech University to study civil engineerin­g.

Rachel Morgan, daughter of Rick Morgan of Vidalia, Louisiana and Robin Boerwinkle of West Monroe, Louisiana, has been awarded the Louisiana State University Merit Award ($13,750). She is a member of the Young Democrats, Student Council, National Honor Society and Steering Committee and plays with the EHS Band. She is also on the soccer and swim teams. She plans to attend LSU to study coastal environmen­tal science and research.

Raven Hicks, daughter of Monica Williams of El Dorado and Charles Hicks of Strong, has been awarded the El Dorado Promise and the Hicks/Holloway Scholarshi­p ($2,500). Raven is President of the Beta Club and a member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Student Council, Young Democrats and Upward Bound. She is also the Lady Cat basketball team manager. She is an Academic Letterman and has been recognized with the Upward Bound

Academic Excellence Award, the Outstandin­g Student Award, the Murphy Excellence Award and the Advanced Placement Award. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to study political science and psychology.

Ryan Michael Coan, son of Rusty and Chae Coan of El Dorado, has been awarded the University of Central Arkansas Presidenti­al Distinguis­hed Scholarshi­p ($34,000), the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($14,000) and the El Dorado Promise ($45,000). He is a member of the Student Council, National Honor Society and Steering Committee and the Wildcat soccer and tennis teams. He is an Advanced Placement Scholar, an Arkansas Scholar, an Academic Letterman and a Wearer of the Gold. He plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to study business and accounting.

Ryleigh Flen, daughter of Rod and Amanda Flen, has been awarded the Ruth Nodini Career and Technical Education scholarshi­p ($3,000). She is a member of DECA and Future Business Leaders of America. She won first-place in the FBLA District 4 e-Business category. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas and is considerin­g studying speech pathology or elementary education.

Sabastion Taylor, son of Nicole Taylor of Memphis, Tenn. and and Jim Taylor of Senatobia, Miss. has been awarded an Achievemen­t scholarshi­p ($3,000). He is a Letterman Wildcat soccer player. He plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to study business and accounting.

Sha’Marcea Shantell

Moore, daughter of Antonio and Sharikka Moore of El Dorado, has been awarded the Student Ambassador for South Arkansas Community College scholarshi­p (full tuition), the New Olive Branch Baptist Church scholarshi­p ($300), and the Upward Bound SACC, Bridge and Graduate scholarshi­ps. She is a member of the Beta Club, Upward Bound, Student Council, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and was formerly a member of Pride, the EHS volleyball team from 2016 to 2017. She was also the Basketball Manager in the 2016-2017 school year. She has been recognized as the 2019 Sweetheart Junior Maid, the 2019 Senior Homecoming Honor Maid and the 2019 Outstandin­g Female of the Year for Upward Bound. She plans to attend South Arkansas Community College to study in their Arts and Science program before attending Southern Arkansas University to study psychology with a minor in social work.

Shania Arnold, daughter of Cynthia Arnold of El Dorado, and Robert Arnold of Springdale, Arkansas, has been awarded the University of Fayettevil­le Academic Scholarshi­p ($1,000); the Arkansas Academic Challenge scholarshi­p ($14,000/over four years); and the El Dorado Promise Scholarshi­p. She is a member of Thespian Troupe 42. Arnold plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le and major in nursing.

Tayler Jackson, daughter of Dedrick and Latrina Willis of El Dorado, has been awarded scholarshi­ps from Zeta Phi Beta, Alpha Alpha Pi Zeta Chapter and Empire Properties, as well as earning the Reddie Achievemen­t Scholarshi­p and an Upward Bound Scholarshi­p. She is a member of Upward Bound, Beta Club and the Praise Dance team at St. James Baptist Church. She has been recognized by Upward Bound in 2019 and received the Outstandin­g Female Award in 2018, was the Entreprene­ur Camp Winner in 2019 and recognized for M.A.S.H in 2018. She plans to attend Henderson State University to study biology in the pre-med program.

Thomas Luke

Crawford, son of Tony Crawford of Winnfield, La. and Amy Crawford of Breaux Bridge, La, has been awarded the Aerojet Rocketdyne Scholarshi­p, the Jack Q. Ridinger Memorial Scholarshi­p, the John G. and Jesse G. Ralston Wildcat Scholarshi­p and the Dr. Bill Landers Memorial Scholarshi­p. He is a member of the Student Council, Steering Committee and the National Honor Society. He also played for the Wildcat football team, where he was a member of the 2019 6A West All-Conference team and a three-year Letterman. He is graduating in the top 5% of his class and is a three-time Academic All-Conference and an Academic Letterman. He plans to attend Louisiana State University to study biological sciences in their pre-med program.

Tristan Seabolt, son of Jodi and Tommy Seabolt of El Dorado, has been awarded the El Dorado Promise scholarshi­p. He is a Letterman for the Varsity football team and a member of the Young Democrats, Steering Committee and the Mock Trial club. He has volunteere­d at Hope Landing and helped with the Buddy Ball. He plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to study philosophy and then pursue his law degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le.

T’eric Kendrick, son of Charlotte White and Eric Kendrick of El Dorado, plans to study computer animation upon graduating.

Victoria Taylor, daughter of Cindy and Mason Taylor, is a member of Thespian Troupe 42 and the El Dorado High School Hi-Gusher staff. She has been recognized with a general excellence award from the Arkansas Scholastic Press Associatio­n. She also participat­ed in Odyssey of the Mind at the World competitio­n. She will be attending Southern Arkansas University to study history.

William Artis, son of Allison Abson of Little Rock, Ark. and Robert Greer of El Dorado, has been awarded the Dr. Carl F. Hartmann Engineerin­g Scholarshi­p and the Hazel C. & Lester Ross Scholarshi­p. He is a two-year Letterman in track, where he was also recognized as First Team All-Conference two years in a row. He is also a threeyear Letterman in football and was named Football All-Area Defense player by the El Dorado News-Times. He is also All-Academic. He plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he will run track, to study engineerin­g.

Zyair Hill, son of Lakenya Hill and Chris Wade of El Dorado, is a member of the Wildcat track and field team, where he finished third in the 400m track race. He plans to attend the University of Monticello to study business.
