NANNIE B. OWENS
Nannie B. “Nan” Owens age 90 of the Hopewell Community died Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Timberlane Health and Rehab Center in El Dorado. Register book and public viewing will be available from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Hopewell Cemetery.

Robert G. Newton, 54, of Springdale, Ark. passed away on July 10, 2020 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark.

RICK HUMBLE
Rick Humble, 71 of El Dorado, AR passed away on July 11, 2020 and gained his place in the presence of our Lord Jesus. He was born to Jimmy and Sarah Humble on March 2, 1949 in El Dorado, AR.
He was a member,
Deacon, and Sunday
School teacher at Westside
Baptist Church for many years and still considered it his home church. Rick started his career as a brakeman for the former
Rock Island Railroad. He spent the last 30 years of his working life in various capacities at Lion Oil
Refinery where he retired as an Operator. Rick was an avid duck hunter and fisherman for most of his life. He was a lifelong
Razorback fan. He enjoyed working around the house and spending time with his wife Martha as he helped to care for his parents in their later years.
As he entered Heaven, Rick was greeted by his wife Martha and his parents Jimmy and Sarah.
Survivors include his four children, Jamie Humble and his wife Lesley of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Amy Davis and her husband Robert of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Jacob Franks and his wife Tiffany of El Dorado, AR, and Levi Funderburg of Jacksonville, Arkansas, his sister Pam Humble of Beulah, Colorado, brother Don Humble and his wife Renee of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and sister Barbara Murchison and her husband Warner of El Dorado, Arkansas. Also surviving are his grandchildren, McKinley and Morgan Humble, and Audrey and Ryan Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in El Dorado, Arkansas Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 5:007:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery Wednesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. with Brother Mike Pounders officiating.

JOHN GRADEN CULPEPPER
John Graden (Grady) Culpepper, 99, of Spearsville, LA passed into a better life on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on September 17, 1920, at Junction City, AR to the late Walter and Alice Stocks
Culpepper. Grady was a member of Canaan Baptist
Church near Lockhart, LA.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, Walter and Alice
Culpepper, his first wife of 18 years Norma Jean
Lucas Culpepper, his second wife of 42 years Latance Post Wood Culpepper, daughter, Sandra Kaye Culpepper Lindsey and her infant son, son, Norman Culpepper, daughter-in-law, Mary Wood, grandson Clint Culpepper, granddaughter Susan Martin, great granddaughter Morgan Wood, son-in-law Norman (Wayne) Lindsey, sons Gurvis Wood and Ronnie Wood, daughter Carolyn Wood Martin, four sisters, Eva Hollis, Bessie May, Reva Richmond, and Nellie Culpepper.
Those left to cherish his memory include son, Kenny Culpepper and wife Ann of Memphis, TN, Michael David Wood of Norman, Oklahoma, daughters-in-law, Martha Wood of Fayetteville AR, Connie Culpepper of Southaven, MS, Annette Culpepper of El Dorado, AR, Paula Robertson of El Dorado, AR, son-in-law Brewin Martin of Rosston, AR, grandchildren Scott Culpepper and wife Ginger of Sioux Center, IA, Amanda Willig and husband James of Birmingham, AL, Tommie Wood and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, AR, Greg Lindsey of Urbana, AR, Rene’ Lindsey and husband Max of Junction City, LA, Gwynn Culpepper of Southaven, MS, Josh Culpepper and Samantha of Monticello, AR, Taylor Culpepper of El Dorado, AR, Sharon Gay and husband Chris of Ohio, Bryce Vaughn of El Dorado, AR, Todd Martin, Steve Martin and wife Elizabeth, David Wood and wife Jill, Jason Wood and wife Amy, Shelly Lout and husband Jonathon, Doug Hatcher, and numerous other loving great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Grady was a WWII veteran spending 6 years in the U.S. Army and serving in the 90th Infantry Division, Tough Hombres. He was the recipient of several awards including the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in ground combat during World War II in the European African Middle Eastern Theater of Operations.
After working in the trucking freight business with Atlas and Roadway for 32 years, he retired and enjoyed a long retirement working around the house in his yard.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be sent to Canaan Baptist Church general fund, 225 Highway 558, Spearsville, LA 71277. A short private graveside service will be on Wednesday July 15,2020 at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment to follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines: The service is limited to family and close friends. It will be streamed on Facebook for those unable to attend. The family asks attendees to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
