Eva Lois Eutsey 71, formerly of El Dorado, AR passed away July 17, 2020 at Seton Medical Center in Round Rock, TX. Arrangemen­ts for funeral service will be announced by Sims Mortuary Inc. of El Dorado, AR.

BARBARA JEAN WOOD

Barbara Jean Wood, 93, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Timberlane Health and Rehabilita­tion.

Arrangemen­ts will be announced by Young’s Funeral Directors.

DORIS FINLEY-BRICE

On July 16, 1958, Doris Finley-Brice was born to Agnes Pierce Finley and Cubie Finley, Sr. in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was the 10th child born to this union.

On Sunday, July 19,

2020, Doris peacefully transition­ed from the church militant to the church triumphant. In transition, she is united with her parents;

Brother Cubie Finley Jr;

Sister Ollie Faye Finley;

Sister Artie Mary Finley

Thompson; Sister Jeanette Finley-Kilgore; and Sister

Emma Finley-Carey.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving husband,

Mr. Elgin Lee Brice; daughter Mariah Fairley (Delvin); two sons: Dr. Anwar Fairley (Christina), and Quiston Fairley, Sr.; two beloved grandchild­ren: Quiston ¨Stokely¨ Fairley, II, and Jeanasia ¨Muh¨ Richmond; three brothers: Charles Finley (Bobbi Jo); Leonard Finley, Sr. and Robert Finley (Pateria); four sisters: Gwendolyn Finley-Jones; Jo Ann Finley-Montgomery, Carolyn Finley-Evans (James), and Alice Carter, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will miss her tremendous­ly.

SUESETTE MARIE PORTER

Suesette Marie Porter age 69 of Crossett, AR passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in route to El Dorado, AR. Suesette was born on October 10, 1950 in Nacogdoche­s, TX to the late Wilma Hatton Porter and Ray Porter. After high school, she joined the

U.S. Main Corps, serving from 1969 until 1972. She then attended Southern

Arkansas University in

Magnolia, from where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in education.

Suesette worked thirty plus years as a high school teacher, having worked at several schools thru ought her career, including

Strong, Huttig and finally Crossett before her retirement.

Suesette was preceded in death by her biological parents; her grandparen­ts, who raised her, Ame and Inez Hatton; sister, Jackie Porter; brother, Allan Porter; and a uncle, Bobby Hatton.

Survivors include; two aunts, Polly Williams, and Opal Perkins; one uncle Jim “Sonny” Hatton; two nieces, Angela Byrd, and Shannon Cole; one nephew, Jason Porter; special cousin, Cathy Flowers; special friends, Jennifer Smith, and Kelly Wilcoxon; two special pets, Smudge and Oreo, along with numerous other extended family members.

A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation services provided by Perry’s Funeral Chapels of El Dorado.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Crossett City Pound.
