DONALD RILEY GOODWIN, JR.

Donald Riley Goodwin, Jr. 68, of Chidester passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden.

Jay Hoggard, 76, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Funeral service for Natividad Ward, age 75, of El Dorado, Arkansas, will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.

IVA “MARIE” DARDEN

Iva “Marie” Darden went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 1, 2020.

Marie was born October 25, 1935 to Ollie and Mary Evans.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children—Rubin W. Darden, Sisters—Dorothy Martisek and Oleta Stamper, Brothers—Vernon Evans and Melvin Evans and her daughter-in-love—Delores “DeeDee” Darden.

Survivors include her sons—Terry Darden of El Dorado, Larry Darden (Sherry) of Lisbon, and daughter—Karen Gandy (Allen) of Smackover, Sisters— Marguerite Parks of Smackover and Jean Butler of El Dorado Grandchild­ren—Jennifer Loschieder, Jameson “Jay” Darden, Terry Michael “Mike” Darden, Amy Darden, Stacie Saulsbury and Lorie Porter. 12 Great Grandchild­ren and 2 Great Grandchild­ren.

Momma loved the Lord first and foremost. She was a faithful servant. She loved her family and being with them. Through the years, Alzheimer’s took away her memory but never her spunk and love for life. Our family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of The Springs of Magnolia! Mom loved each of you! Every one of you helped mom’s past few years be the best they could be!

Serving as pallbearer­s will be; Dennis Darden, Russell Darden, Bruce Darden, Randy Martizek, Richard butcher ,Tommy Parks and serving as honorary pallbearer, Tim Tolin.

Services will be held Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Young’s funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery officiated by Bro. Steve Davis. Under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

CARL LEON KEELING

Carl Leon Keeling of Louann, AR passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. He was born June 2, 1943 to L.V. and Ora Belle Keeling of Louann.

Before his retirement, he worked at El Dorado Foundry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Louann Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Dorothy Allen and Wyonna Hodges.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Ann Keeling and two sons, Carl Wesley Keeling of Calion and Kenneth Alexander Keeling of Louann; brother Edwin Keeling (Carolyn) of North Richland Hills, Texas and sister Barbara Moser (Philip) of Rogers, AR.

Cremation was entrusted by Youngs Funeral Directors of El Dorado.

BENNIE DOYLE LEGG

Bennie Doyle Legg 83, of El Dorado , Arkansas passed away July 30,2020 at his residence . Bennie was born April 19, 1937 to Leon Edward and Willie Mae Adams Legg.

He was a member of El Dorado Church of God and worked over thirty years for E-Z Mart .

Preceding him are his parents, and three brothers Dwight Lee Legg, Dennis Wayne Grable, and Charles Lee Artis .

Survivors include ; his three sons Cletus Leon Legg of Siloam Springs

, Bennie Doyle Legg Jr.( Elizabeth) of Sanford Florida and Doyle Edward Legg ( LeeAnn) of West Monroe Louisiana. Also surviving him are his three granddaugh­ters; Ashley Nicole, Kelsie Marie, and Christina Marie ,along with his great grandson Corey. Also his three sisters and brother; Minnie Snyder of El Dorado, Arkansas, Betty Danna (Paul) of Azle ,Texas, Shirley Cullin of Sandy Springs , Florida and Donald Herman Grable ( Debbie) of Hopkinsvil­le, Kentucky. He will also be greatly missed by his numerous Nieces ,Nephews and a host of friends.
