1. Notre Dame (9-0, 8-0 ACC): After dispatchin­g North Carolina, only Syracuse and Wake Forest stand in the way of the Fighting Irish and a perfect regular season.

2. Clemson (8-1, 7-1): QB Trevor Lawrence is back in the fold and will look to give his Heisman hopes another boost this week when the Tigers play at Virginia Tech.

3. Miami (7-1, 6-1): The Hurricanes haven’t played since Nov. 14. They travel to Duke this week and then have a showdown with North Carolina, pandemic permitting.

4. North Carolina (6-3, 6-3): After a game against Western Carolina, the Tar Heels will have a chance to make a statement in a key game at Miami.

5. N.C. State (7-3, 6-3): One season after winning four games, the Wolfpack have a chance to double that with a regularsea­son-ending game vs. Georgia Tech.

6. Boston College (6-4, 5-4): Backup QB and former starter Dennis Grosel saved the day vs. Louisville for an Eagles squad that is poised to win seven games.

7. Pitt (5-5, 4-5): After Pitt’s 52-17 skewering at Clemson, the Panthers will have some recovery time before ending the season at Georgia Tech.

8. Wake Forest (4-3, 3-3): Wake Forest hasn’t played since Nov. 14. When they finally do tee it up again, the Deacons will be welcomed back by No. 2 Notre Dame.

9. Virginia Tech (4-5, 4-4): Things don’t get any easier this week for the Hokies, who have lost four of their past five games.

10. Virginia (4-4, 3-4): Virginia became the second team in as many weeks to have its game postponed the day of the game at Florida State.

11. Georgia Tech (3-5, 3-4): Georgia Tech posted its most points of the Geoff Collins era in a romp against Duke and has surpassed its ACC win total from 2019.

12. Louisville (3-7, 2-7): Louisville has outgained its opponent in eight of 10 games; the Cardinals 24 turnovers have been the primary culprit in a 3-7 record.

13. Florida State (2-6, 1-6): The Seminoles only 44 scholarshi­p players available for against Virginia. It became the second consecutiv­e game-day postponeme­nt.

14. Duke (2-7, 1-7): The Blue Devils had a three-game winning streak against Georgia Tech snapped in a big way last week, 56-33. Things may not improve this week.

15. Syracuse (1-9, 1-8): A loss to the Wolfpack wasn’t secure until the Orange spiked the ball to kill the clock – on fourth down. It has been that kind of season.
