Barbara Jean Sales, 88, of Smackover, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1932 to Elzie and Beulah Reeves Standridge in Norphlet, AR.

She was currently a member of Smackover First Baptist Church and was a life-long member of Joyce City Baptist Church. She served as a Sunday School Teacher over 25 years and was church treasurer over 20 years. Barbara retired from Simmons Bank, where she worked in investment­s. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, D.V. Sales; brother, Buddy Standridge; and great granddaugh­ter, Trina Struble.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Sales of Smackover, and Greg Sales (Tammy) of Camden; sisters, Peggy Farnell, Evelyn Taylor, and Shirley Arnold (Wayne) all of Smackover; grandchild­ren, Sydney Struble (Matt), Vance Sales, Ryan Sales, Kiera Bell (Aimee Bell); great grandchild­ren, Sara Beth Struble, Tucker Struble, Gunnar Struble, Ainsley Struble, Landon Bell, and Katie Bell.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In keeping with the CDC regulation­s, masks must be worn and social distancing will be practiced.
