The Union County Quorum Court will meet today at 10 a.m. on the third floor of the county Courthouse.

Union County Chamber of Commerce, will also give a report on the Chamber and request funds for 2021.

Sandy Maguire, president of the Union County Animal Protection Society’s Board of Directors, will provide an update on UCAPS. The county supports UCAPS in several ways, including contributing to the nonprofit’s trap-neuter-return (TNR) program that targets the stray and feral cat colonies in El Dorado and giving county residents the opportunity to donate to UCAPS when they pay property taxes.

District 3 JP Greg Harrison will also give an update on the El DoradoUnion County Recreation Complex.

Quorum Court meetings are open to the public. Those who attend are asked to wear a face mask in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
