NOTICE OF PASSING

BARRY LEWIS MORRISON

Barry Lewis Morrison, 85, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels with a public visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.

AG AARON

AG Aaron is also known as “Al” was born to Florence and AC Aaron He confessed a belief in Christ at an early age at Zion Watch Missionary Baptist Church.

AG was employed by

ConAgra poultry plant. AG fell deeply in love and married his soul-mate Betty

Aaron on October 26,

1984. They shared 36 wonderful years. “Al” enjoyed being around his family and friends enjoying life to the fullest. His favorite song was “Lean on Me”.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his siblings:

Evelyn Welch, Jessie Mae

Hicks, and RC Aaron, and one Grandson: Jactavis

Williams.

Al’s memories will be cherished by his wife Betty Aaron. One sister Earlene Gray of El Dorado. One brother Admon Aaron of El Dorado. One daughter Latoshia (Sam) Burns of El Dorado and one son Rickey Williams (Christie) of El Dorado. Two grandchild­ren: Jaranisca Simmons and Rakel Williams both of El Dorado. He has a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends that will miss him dearly.

MORRIS RANDAL “RANDY” EVANS

Morris Randal “Randy” Evans was born on April 25, 1959 in El Dorado, Arkansas and departed this life on December 14, 2020 at Baptist Health in North Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 61 years.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Evans.

Randy is survived by his wife Tarah Barber Evans, married March 16, 2015.

His parents Morris Allen “PeeWee” and Dorothy Greer Evans, his sister, Laurie (Dwayne) Mayfield, his children Michael (Kimberly) Evans, Ashley

(Larry) Kussman. Also surviving are his children he was so honored to adopt, Grace Evans, Nate Evans, Isaac Evans, and Catherine Evans.

In addition to his wife and children Randy was truly blessed with 8 grandchild­ren that survive: Claire, Jake, Owen, Sarah, and Daniel Evans, Adam and Brycen Kussman, and his namesake, Shepherd Randal Evans.

Randy was a graduate of the 1977 class at Junction City Arkansas High School.

He enjoyed a rewarding career in the Safety, Security, Health and Environmen­tal fields. At the time of his death, he was the Safety Manager at Resolute FP in El Dorado, Arkansas. He also enjoyed serving as a Paramedic at Pro Med Ambulance and as the Fire Chief for Faircrest Volunteer Fire Department,

Randy was an avid outdoors man, who loved hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed watching College Football (WPS), and his children’s sporting events. He loved cooking for his family and watching cartoons with his wife, Tarah.

One of his favorite memories was when he helped build and host the many events at the Evans Rodeo

Arena with family and friends.

Young’s Funeral Directors will conduct a private burial with immediate family in attendance at Smyrna Cemetery, with Pastor Jason Yarbrough officiatin­g.

DENNIS WAYNE GIBSON

Dennis Wayne Gibson, 73, resident of El Dorado and formerly of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Lifetouch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Dennis leaves behind his daughter and son-inlaw, Leigh Anne and Rob Robinson; his granddaugh­ters, Emma and Reaves Robinson; his sister, Janelle Seat; and many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brownie and Claude Gibson, his brother, Bill Gibson, Sr., and his wife, Brenda Gibson.

Dennis was born on June 4, 1947 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. After graduating from Valley View High School in 1965, Dennis attended Central Baptist College in Conway where he met the love of his life, Brenda Parris. Dennis and Brenda married on August 13, 1966 at Unity Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas. Dennis moved his bride back home to Jonesboro and soon enlisted in the Arkansas National Guard. After completing his basic training in Fort Polk, Louisiana, he rejoined Brenda in Jonesboro and enrolled at Arkansas State University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Agricultur­e from ASU in 1971.

Dennis was a member and deacon at Big Creek Baptist Church for many years, and served as the church treasurer. He joined First Baptist Church in El Dorado in January, 2019. Dennis’ love for everything agricultur­e began at an early age when he started working in the fields of the Gibson Family Farm. He farmed for many years all over Craighead County. He was a partner in Valley View Agri-Systems which sparked a passion for selling and constructi­on of grain bins and equipment. His large personalit­y and gentle spirit proved perfect for a second career in sales. He was a licensed Agricultur­al Consultant and worked in agricultur­al chemical sales until the time of his passing. Dennis continued to sell and construct farm buildings through his partnershi­p in G & B Sales and Sukup. Dennis was a Master Mason and was extremely honored earlier this year to receive his Fifty Year Certificat­e from The Grand Lodge of Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Emerson Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Emerson Funeral Home’s Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro, with Stan Parris officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Active pallbearer­s include Bill Gibson, Jr., Randy Stimach, Roberto Rodriguez, Phillip Kifer, Lee Parris, Brock Stimach and Brody Stimach. Honorary pallbearer­s will include Don Seat, Tommy Parris, Jim Hartsfield, members of Big Creek Baptist Church and a host of friends and family.

Memorials may be made to Big Creek Baptist Church or Lifetouch Hospice.
