RICHARD BURNS
On December 15th, 2020 Richard Burns, loving husband and father of four, passed away at the age of 68. He passed peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Richard was born in
Little Rock, Arkansas July
12th, 1952 and spent his childhood in El Dorado,
Arkansas. He attended college at Ouachita Baptist
University and earned a degree in Business.
He later studied early childhood education. On
May 31st, 1975, he married the love of his life, Belinda
Kelly. They raised three sons, Ragan, Chad, and
Jared, and one daughter,
Mallory. They made a home in Juneau, Alaska for over 20 years before moving back to Arkansas. Richard was an entrepreneur owning his own men’s clothing store. He was a school administrator at Juneau Christian School for 12 years, a commercial construction project manager, and a top sales associate for Clayton Homes.
He was known for his dry sense of humor and sarcastic, quick wit. He was full of no-nonsense, perfectly timed wisdom that he gave frequently to his four children, their spouses, grandchildren, friends and anyone who walked through his door needing guidance or simply someone to talk to. He loved playing the organ and was on the church praise and worship team for many years.
He is preceded in death by his mother Charlene, his father Otis, and his stepmother Jeanette.
He leaves behind Belinda, his adoring “babe” of 45 years. Their marriage was a model of love, perseverance, and plenty of laughter. His son Ragan, his wife Shanna, their son Asher. His son Chad, his wife Heather, their sons Hunter and Carter. His son Jared and wife Allie. His daughter Mallory, her husband David, their children Caleb, Noah, and Hannah. His sister Cheryl, her son, David, daughter, Aimee, his sister Medra, her son Ty and family, and his sister Mary and family.
He leaves behind a legacy of Godly wisdom, prayer, and never-ending, unconditional love. He loved us well and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his wonderful life will be held on December 30th. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Searcy, Arkansas. Richard’s family can be contacted at 2309 Orleans Place, Searcy, AR. OLA MAE MAYFIELD
Ola Mae Mayfield, 84 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia, Arkansas.
She was born on May 3, 1936 in Magnolia to the late Jack Sanders and Avis
(Bridges) Sanders Phillips.
She was a homemaker and was one of the greatest cooks in the world. She took pride in cooking and it was a joy to her for people to brag on her well cooked meals. She was a sweet and caring lady.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband
LeRoy Mayfield who was the love of her life and her guardian angel; son Jack Barker of Hope; daughter Rhonda Flaherty of Magnolia; and half brother Robert Phillips of Magnolia.
Ola Mae is survived by her son Dwain Mayfield and wife Laurie of El Dorado, two brothers, Lloyd Sanders and wife Alice, Floyd Sanders and wife Lurlene both of Magnolia; sister Linda Young of Waldo; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Marcus Murphy and their three children of Hope, Courtney and Adam Hamilton of Hope, Jerrod and April Mayfield and their son of El Dorado, Evan Mayfield of El Dorado, Anna Marie Mayfield of El Dorado, Caitlin Stuart and family, and Kylie Spears and family; seven great grandchildren, daughter in law Vicki Barker; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Barlow Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Memorial donations may be made to Barlow Cemetery, C/O 2111 Columbia Road 27 South, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753.

JACTAVIS RASHAAD “JAI” WILLIAMS
Jactavis Rashaad Williams also known as “Jai” was born to Rickey Williams and Latonya Washington on Jan. 3rd, 1996. He gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary
Baptist Church.
He loved sports and was known for his talents in playing basketball and football.
Preceding him in death his maternal grandfather,
John Howard Jones Jr., and his paternal grandparents Booker T and Betty
Washington.
Jactavis’s memories will be cherished by his parents

Three sisters: Jaranisca Simmons, Shannon Oguinn, and Tiara Washington all of El Dorado. A bonus Mom Jaquetta Hall of El Dorado. Two Grandmother’s: Essie Jones and Betty Aaron (A.G.) both of El Dorado. His Grandfather Rickey Williams Sr. He has a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends that will miss him dearly.
