SUE R. BURGE
Sue R. Burge, 89, of El Dorado, AR; died Friday, December 18, 2020 in El Dorado at Life Touch Hospice.
Born on January 31, 1931 she was the daughter of Joe and Annie Bell Upshaw Risinger. Sue was a member of the East Faulkner Church of Christ. She began a 40 plus year career in banking with National Bank of
Commerce and Simmons Bank becoming a branch manager.
She also enjoyed her weekly
Bible study class, gardening and spending time with her family, including her annual summer trips to St. Louis to visit her sister Beth.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Billy
Risinger, sisters Beth Stallings and Lou Nell Risinger, a son
David Anglin and her husband
L.E. Doc” Burge Jr.
Survivors are a daughter Carol
(Benny) Bussey of El Dorado; grandchildren Amy (Phillip)
Barton, Carrie (Jeff) May, Christa (Jason) Ingram, Christopher Todd Anglin, Tyler Anglin and Tara (Daniel) Wright; along with nine great grandchildren.
Graveside services by Young’s Funeral Directors will be at 1 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park with Jim Willis officiating.

JANICE P. STRINGFELLOW McGOUGH
Janice P. Stringfellow McGough, age 86, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was born January 7, 1934 in Calhoun County, Arkansas to the late Joe Riley and Nellie Stringfellow. Janice was married to the love of her life, James “Frog” McGough for 55 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. McGough; son, Joe McGough; brothers, Grady Stringfellow and Ben Stringfellow; and sisters, Holla Mae Moore, Irma Brecht, Betty Jo Roland, Clovis Gustafson.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Gaye) McGough; daughter- in- law, Ann McGough; brother, Gene (Jean) Stringfellow; grandchildren, Jody (Joyce) Tillery, Pamela (Charles) Carter, Trish (Ray) Stapler, Amanda (Frank) Ventura, Jay (Stacey) McGough, Greg (Anissa) McGough; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Calion Baptist Church in Calion. Interment will follow at Champagnolle Cemetery in El Dorado. MARGARET ANN EVANS PARKER
Margaret Ann Evans Parker, age 77 of El Dorado, Arkansas died Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born August 6, 1943 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a retired LPN. She attended Faith Assembly of God Church in El Dorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Evans and Allie Satterwhite Evans; husband, Doyle Kenneth Parker; and five siblings. She is survived by one son, Michael Parker of El Dorado; one daughter, Kennetha Cox of Wamego, KS; one brother, Kenny Evans of Hampton; one sister, Earnestine Landers of Fordyce; and three grandchildren. BARBARA GAIL RODGERS
Barbara Gail Rodgers was born on February 17, 1964, in El Dorado, AR. To the late Robert “Red” Rodgers and Mary Lee Rodgers. Barbara departed this life Saturday morning with her children by her side on December 12, 2020, at
St. Vincent Hospital Little Rock,
AR.
She had many hobbies and has always been an entrepreneur of home interior decorating to planning weddings.
Preceding her in death are her parents Robert “Red” Rodgers and Mary Lee Rodgers, her grandkids Nakina Jashari Rogers and Jordan D. Hall. Barbara was a loving mother and devoted grandmother.
Graveside services Sunday,
December 27, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.

JOE GLENN TUCKER
Joe Glenn Tucker age 91 of Minden, LA, formerly of El Dorado passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at his residence. Joe was born on December 19, 1929 in Union County, AR to the late Annie Mae Yocum Tucker and Will Tucker.
Joe was a proud U.S. Air
Force Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict Era.
Following his military service, he attended Draughon School of
Radio in Little Rock, from where he received his FCC First Class
Communication License in 1956.
This led to his career as a radio and television engineer at KTBS
3 in Shreveport for 29 years.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and his wife of almost 61 years, DeEtta Burleson Tucker.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Frye, and Linda
Johnson both of Minden, LA; five grandchildren, David Corbit,
Krista Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Abigail Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; three great grandchildren, Darrian Corbit, Daniel Corbit and Dylan Corbit.Graveside services with military honors will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park, with Bro. Jofree Long Jr. officiating. Burial will follow under the direction on Bailey Funeral Home.
