Bennett to lead MCSA’s business developmen­t

Medical Center of South Arkansas (MCSA) has promoted Alex Bennett to Executive Director of Business Developmen­t.

Bennett joined the organizati­on in 2015 and has subsequent­ly served in various roles, quickly rising to management and hospital admin level positions. Bennett assumes many roles including Business Developmen­t, Marketing Director, Physician Liaison, Physician Recruitmen­t, and Volunteer Director. She is responsibl­e for facilitati­ng and executing the hospital’s alliance and project management, strategic marketing campaigns, community outreach, brand developmen­t, volunteer services, fundraisin­g, etc.

She has become well known for her ability to engage the local medical community by cultivatin­g positive, open and helpful relationsh­ips among community practices, medical staff and providers alike through issue resolution, communicat­ion, and providing hospital support.

“Alex has been a key part of our success, and we were thrilled to promote her to this important position,” said Scott Street, CEO.

Bennett received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas. She enjoys living in El Dorado and has become very involved in the community through volunteer agencies, nonprofits, and attending community events.

Bennett serves on the MCSA Healthy Woman Board, MCSA Auxiliary Board, El Dorado Boys and Girls Club Board and the South Arkansas Art Center Board. Bennett also served six years for El Dorado Service League and was President from 2019 to 2020.
