Local nonprofit in need

The Magdalene House, a nonprofit women’s recovery home in El Dorado, is seeking assistance from the community.

The following toiletry items are needed: cotton balls; q-tips; nail polish remover; body wash, feminine wash; tampons; panty liners; Kotex; hand lotion; toothpaste; mouthwash; dental floss; razors; toilet paper.

The following cleaning supplies are needed: Drano Hair Buster gel; glass clearer; disinfecting spray cleaner; multi-purpose cleaner; cleaning wipes; Pledge cleaner; electronics cleaner for TVs and computers; 30-gallon leaf/lawn trash bags.

The following kitchen and food items are needed: paper towels; all sizes of Ziplock bags; aluminum foil; Saran wrap; paper napkins; hand soap; Folgers coffee; coffee creamer; flour; sugar; brown sugar; Splenda or Stevia; baking powder; baking soda; salt and pepper; spices and seasonings of all kinds; ketchup; mayonnaise; mustard; ranch salad dressing; Worcestershire sauce; cream of mushroom soup; cream of chicken soup; cream of celery soup; tomato soup; beef broth; chicken broth; all types of pasta; all types of rice; all types of canned vegetables and beans; Lipton tea bags; flavored drink packets.

Other miscellaneous items needed, including personal cleaning products and medication, are: laundry detergent (some scent-free); fabric softener (some scent-free); women’s One-A-Day multivitamins; Tylenol; Motrin; Imodium; Pepto Bismol; stool softener; Band-Aids; eye drops; allergy medication; and Prilosec or omeprazole.
