Dear Editor:

In response to the 2/14/2021 letter. Many people with that writer’s way of thinking are living in the dark. The Biden/Harris agenda is to put us in a socialistic society. They are also 100% pro-abortion, even in full term pregnancies. Research it. I am offended by

the statement ‘either put up or shut up’. What does that mean? Maybe some should watch and abortion? Maybe the they will shut up. As for Biden signing executive orders, how many are real, how many were blank? Has Biden ever shown the document to the public? Why is he not allowed to use the real Airforce One, or have dealings with the Pentagon? Why was the White House dark for 10 days? Why is there a fence with barbed wire on the inside around the WH and Capitol? Why as there not been a State of the Union Address? Research the dumbs and tunnels under the WH that have been used for Satanic purposes, (including the abuse and sacrifice of children), the explosions underground in Washington DC, and the smoking manholes. Soon the world will know the truth of the Democratic agenda and the horrific things that have been done by people i high places, in the Hollywood setting, and in our government. What we are living in right now is a war, not between Democrats and Republicans, but between good and evil. I would like someone to prove that Mr. Trump was behind the capitol riot? I would also like someone to tell me what messes the Trump administration made. Mr. Trump is the one who has been cleaning up the messes from our past administrations. It is my opinion that he was the best President since Reagan. Mr. Trump really loves America and has fought harder for our freedom than any President! I am proud that Arkansas is a red state and that we stand up for what is right. I 100% support Sarah Huckabee Sanders in her quest to be our governor. Donna Hill

Dear Editor,

Let us have our freedom!

Dear Editor,

I respectfully request that Congress pass the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act. The bipartisan RPM Act protects the right to convert an automobile or motorcycle into a racecar used exclusively at the track.

Modifying a vehicle into a racecar is an integral part of America’s automotive heritage. Many types of racing, including NASCAR, were founded on the premise that street vehicles, including motorcycles, can be converted into dedicated race vehicles. Racing events are an economic driver for many communities and a source of affordable family-friendly entertainment for millions, with participants that range from professionals to novices using converted race vehicles.

Congress never intended for the Clean Air Act (CAA) to apply to motor vehicles modified for competition use only. However, the EPA maintains that CAA requires converted vehicles driven exclusively on the track to remain emissions-compliant.

The RPM Act clarifies that transforming motor vehicles into racecars used exclusively for competition does not violate the CAA. It is imperative that Congress passes the RPM Act to provide long-term certainty to racers and motorsports parts businesses. Sincerely,

Alex Sullivan

Dear Editor

March 24th is National Agriculture Day. It’s a day to recognize U.S. farmers for all the great things they o to feed us and a lot of the world.

It’s also a time to recognize how important agriculture is to Arkansas. Agriculture is Arkansas’ largest industry. Arkansas ranks first in the production of rice, second in broiler chicken and fifth in cotton, eleventh in beef cattle and soybean.

Closer to home, Union County is a major timber producer, but also beef cattle and poultry contribute significantly to the county’s economy. In fact, poultry is making comeback within the Strong area with several new farms expanding into production.. Other crops grown in the county include hay and truck crops.

Promoting our local agriculture helps diversify the county’s economy which affects many others.

Farmers kept food on America’s table during the pandemic and helped sustain millions of jobs in processing, transportation and food service. America’s food is the most abundant and safest in the world. So don’t cuss a farmer with your mouth full.

Thanks a farmer today!

To the Editor:

Congressman Bruce Westerman cast yet another shameful vote in Congress, this one March 10, against the COVID Relief Bill, following right along with every other Republican in Congress. Never mind that the bill was favored by 75% of the American population. Congressman Westerman practically tripped over himself in 2017 to vote for a similarly-sized tax cut, which contained no spending and favored the upper 1% of of earners. Today’s COVID Relief Bill is the first congressional initiative in generations that will truly benefit the majority of Americans, particularly the middle class and the working poor. But as usual, Congressman Westerman was missing in action. I suspect this will not go unnoticed in the next election cycle.
