NOTE: Any violations reported in an inspection may have been corrected before time of publicatio­n. The Food Protection Program of the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) inspects all food establishm­ents in the state to make sure they follow ADH Food Establishm­ents Rules & Regulation­s. Arkansas Health Department’s inspection­s are conducted 1 to 3 times per year depending upon the Risk Category of the establishm­ent. Additional inspection­s occur to follow-up on violations and when the ADH receives complaints. The regulation­s are written to ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely, which in turn may prevent food-borne illness. (3) Prepared Beans, Taco Meat, and Shredded Chicken in Walk -In Cooler not date marked. Chemical spray bottle found unlabeled. Corrective actions taken.

McDonald 501 S. Timberland, El Dorado, AR. Observed (1) The sanitizer at the 3 compartmen­t sink was out. Corrective actions taken.

Black Cat Cafe, 117 E Main, El Dorado, AR. Observed (1) Observed employee not washing hands using the required procedure. (2) All cold holding equipment shall be able to hold and maintain all cold hold TCS foods at or below 41 degrees F. Corrective actions taken.

Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant, 208 Main St., Junction City, AR. Observed (1) The PERSON IN CHARGE shall demonstrat­e to the REGULATORY AUTHORITY knowledge of foodborne disease prevention, applicatio­n of the HAZARD Analysis CRITICAL CONTROL POINT principles, and the requiremen­ts of the Rules and Regulation­s Pertaining to Food Establishm­ents. (2) Food employees may not clean their hands in a sink used for food preparatio­n, ware washing or in a service sink used for the disposal of mop water and similar liquid waste. (3) Beans on the hot well were not in hot hold temperatur­e compliance. (4) Food prepared and held for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises, sold or discarded for a maximum of 7 days. (5) Provide an adequate supply of hand cleanser (liquid, powder or bar) at each hand washing sink. Corrective actions taken.

Junction City Baseball Concess., General Delivery, Junction City, AR. (1) The refrigerat­or is out of cold hold compliance; have the unit checked. (2) Food prepared and packaged by a food processing plant shall be clearly marked at the time the original container is opened and if the food is held more than 24 hours to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises, sold or discarded for a maximum of 7 days. McDonald’s Grocery Deli, P.O.Box 778, Junction City, AR. Observed (1) Deli Meat case items out of cold hold temperatur­e compliance. (2) Open deli meats not date marked when open and when to discard. (3) A hand washing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use, and do not use for purposes other than hand washing. Corrective actions taken.

Goodwin’s Etc. Inc. 2718 N. Tate Rd., El Dorado, AR. No violations.

LaVilla Mexican Restaurant, 2640 N. W. Ave., El Dorado, AR. Observed (1) The Walk-In Freezer is out freezer hold compliance; food items are thawing, and ice has build-up on the fan and drain line (2) Food prepared and held for more than 24 hours shall be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises, sold or discarded for a maximum of 7 days. (3) Dish machine was not properly sanitizing dishes; heard the water draining out even while the machine was running a cycle. Corrective actions taken.
