For the third time in five games, El Dorado's offense produced double figures, as the Wildcats rolled to a 21-0 win over Hot Springs Tuesday in 5A South play.

Landen Rainwater homered for the third time in four games and Brennan Jones hit a grand slam for the Wildcats (8-5, 2-1), who scored 12 runs in the first and nine in the second.

“We had a great approach at the plate and had big swings up and down the lineup,” El Dorado coach Cannon Lester said.

“Landen has been hot and Brennan is one of our better hitters and is ready to get going.”

Jones, whose aforementioned grand slam came in the second, drove in five runs while going 2-for-2 with three runs scored.

Rainwater, who had four RBIs and hit a tworun homer in the first, finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored for EHS.

Tyler Johnson was 2-for2 with two RBIs, while Austin Jobe and Justin Dumas each drove in a pair of runs in the win.

John Robert Burson, Joseph Bolin and Sam Rothwell each had one hit and one RBI, while Holden Lowry and Shadarious Plummer had one RBI apiece.
