In the Southwest hospital region of the state, where Union County sits, 13 people were hospitaliz­ed due to COVID-19 Tuesday, including four in

intensive care units and two on ventilator support.

A total of 148,249 COVID vaccine doses had been administer­ed by Tuesday afternoon in the Southwest hospital region. The ADH reported that 9.8% of the region’s population were partially immunized Tuesday and 18.7% were fully immunized.
