Business After Hours return this week
The El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Business After Hours events will start back up this month after being canceled for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first Business After Hours of 2021 will be hosted by the SHARE Foundation at HealthWorks Fitness Center on Tuesday, July 20, starting at 5 p.m.
The theme of the Business After Hours at HealthWorks is “Christmas in July.” The event will include tours of the HealthWorks facility, demonstrations presented by the HealthWorks staff and a scavenger hunt.
There will also be door prizes and an ugly Christmas sweater and/or hat contest.
There will be two door prize winners: one for a non-member, who will receive a one-month membership to HealthWorks, and a prize for a current member, who will win a one-month team training prize.
The winner of the Christmas sweater and/or
hat contest will be determined by the Juice Bar staff and will win a free Juice Bar Combo Meal, and the winner of the scavenger hunt will go home with a HealthWorks gym bag.
Tours of the HealthWorks facility will begin at 5:30 p.m. for anyone who wants to participate.
“We are very excited to be able to start up Business After hours again after not having the events for over a year because of COVID,” said Kaitlyn Rigdon, Marketing and Communications Director for the chamber. “We are so glad to be kicking off this monthly event with the SHARE Foundation at HealthWorks.”
Monthly Business After Hours events are scheduled through December 2021. Each Business After Hours event will take place on the third Tuesday of every month, with the exception of December, when the event will be held on the second Tuesday.
The events begin at 5 p.m. and cost $5 and a business card, which are used for entrance into door prize drawings.
The chamber will be recognizing Business After Hours tickets received by chamber members again this year. Members will previously purchased tickets can give their name and the name of their business at the door and one ticket will be checked off from their business.
“We are looking forward to all of the Business After Hours events for 2021,” Rigdon said. “We have big plans for each event and hope everyone will come out to help celebrate these chamber members with us!”
