NORMA JEAN PARKER ANDERS

Norma Jean Parker Anders, 89, of Calion, AR moved to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

Norma Jean was born January 14, 1934 in Calion, AR to Mary Lou Willis and Alfred Parker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ted Anders, two brothers, James

Alfred Parker and Ernest

Keith Parker, one sister,

Carolyn McCorvey.

Norma Jean was devoted to her family, her faith in God and her church family. She was the oldest member of

Calion Assembly of God, and was a member there for 80 plus years. She enjoyed singing with her son Richard, “A mother’s

Prayer”, accompanie­d by Freddy and Bill on guitar and Ken on drums.

Norma Jean was married to the love her life for 67 years and was blessed with four sons, Freddy Anders and wife Renee, Billy Ted Anders, Richard Anders and wife Diane, Ken Anders and wife Kristy, one sister, Wanda Ables Mings and husband David, two brothers, Jerry Parker and wife Ann, Don Parker and wife Brenda, brother-in-law, Bill McCorvey, sister-in-law, Janeece Parker, nine grandchild­ren, twenty two great grandchild­ren and eleven great great grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Calion Assembly of God.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Calion Assembly of God with Rev. Pete Elliott and Rev. Mark Staples officiatin­g. Interment will be in the Champagnol­le Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
