Monday

THEFT

Block Road, Gridley: A firearm was stolen from a person while in the process of moving.

V-7 Road, Oroville: A woman reported that her purse was stolen from her aunt’s house one day prior, between 4 and 5 p.m.

Bruce Lane, Chico: Approximat­ely $70 was stolen from a cash box after a person reportedly pried it open.

FOUND PROPERTY Dogtown Road/Skyway, Magalia: A large pile of mail was found on the side of a road.

Tuesday

BURGLARY

Gorrill Lane, Durham: A resident reported he was attacked by a man who was in possession of a knife and locked himself inside a bathroom.

THEFT

Olive Highway, Oroville: At an RV community, a person reported that his neighbors stole his cat and other items from his house.

Durham Dayton Highway, Durham: A woman’s purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. Alverda Drive, Oroville:

A cell phone was reported stolen at a casino.

Dawn Terrace, Concow: Middle sections of a community mailbox were sawed off and stolen.

Wednesday

BURGLARY

Oroville Quincy Highway, Berry Creek: On the Canyon Creek Bridge, a person’s vehicle was broken into and a firearm was stolen.

Silver Leaf Drive, Oroville: One vehicle was broken into and a second vehicle was vandalized overnight.

THEFT

Skyway, Magalia: A man reported seeing a suspect steal his cargo carrier outside of a store and drive away.

VANDALISM

Rush Court, Chico: A vehicle was tampered with.

Thursday

BURGLARY

Schott Road, Forest Ranch: A church was broken into.

VANDALISM

Lucy Way, Chico: A residence was reportedly defaced.

THEFT

Artesia Drive, Chico: A vehicle was reported stolen. Palm Avenue, Chico: A vehicle was reported stolen.

Friday

VANDALISM

Esquon Road, Durham: A vehicle was vandalized and clothes were stolen from it.

THEFT

County Road 99W, Orland: A backpack containing coupons, keys and a face mask was reported missing.

Sixth Street, Hamilton City: A store manager reported a suspect loading up a laundry basket full of items, valued at $116, and fled in a minivan.

Boeing Avenue, Chico: A vehicle was reported stolen.

BURGLARY

Bald Rock Road, Berry Creek: A person’s home was broken into, in addition to possible damage on the property.

Sierra Vista Way, Chico: A vehicle was broken into. Yosemite Drive, Chico: A vehicle was broken into.

Saturday

THEFT

Oroville Dam Blvd West, Oroville: Mail was stolen out of a community mailbox at a mobile home park. Virginia Avenue/Lincoln Boulevard, Oroville: A girl’s phone was stolen from her purse while at a friend’s house.

Nord Avenue, Chico: A firearm was reported stolen. Josie Court, Chico: Mail was stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Pomona Avenue, Chico: Property valued at less than $400 was vandalized.

Sunday

THEFT

Summit Avenue, Palermo: A person noticed several mailboxes open and saw a suspect in the vicinity. When the reporting person attempted to approach, the suspect fled in a vehicle. Baldwin Avenue, Palermo: A man reported four juveniles who entered his yard and stole his son’s scooter. The man said the incident was captured on surveillan­ce video.

Lincoln Boulevard, Palermo: A caller reported seeing a suspect steal mail out of a mailbox.

VANDALISM

Godman Avenue/Eaton Road, Chico: A vehicle was tampered with during the night.
