The outbreak of COVID-19 has rapidly changed everyday life in Butte County. It is a quick-moving situation in which it is important to stay informed. This is a list of basic information and resources. It will be updated.

By the numbers (through Friday)
Butte County: 9,091 confirmed cases (increase of 99 from Thursday), 1,168 probable cases with 8,109 recoveries (not updated by Public Health since Thursday), 61 hospitalized (not updated by Public Health since Thursday), 121 deaths (increase of one since Thursday). 139,218 total tests.
Glenn County: 1,798 confirmed cases (increase of 4 from Thursday), 379 probable cases with 1,419 recoveries, 7 hospitalized, 19 deaths. 13,494 total tests.
Tehama County: 3,971 confirmed cases (no update since Wednesday) with 2,353 recoveries, 15 hospitalized, 42 deaths (increase of one from Tuesday). 23,949 total tests.

Butte County information help line: 530-552-3050, available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Residents in Butte, Glenn, Shasta and Tehama counties can dial 2-1-1 anytime to get information on the crisis and get connected to resources as they become available. Residents in those counties, along with Lassen, Siskiyou and Trinity, can also receive information by texting CORONAVIRUS to 211-211.
