ADELE KAISER RUMIANO

-

Adele Kaiser Rumiano, age 68 of Willows, passed away at Shasta Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Adele was born on February 1, 1952, to Bernhardt Amiel Kaiser and Doris Kaiser. She began grade school at Artois elementary, then transferred to Willows. After Adele graduated Willows High School in 1970, she attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in pursuit of a Home Economics degree. She then Graduated Chico State with her Teaching Credential while working at Boyds Jewelry Store in Willows where she had many memories that she often talked about.

Adele started student teaching at Artois Elementary School and continued her teaching career at Murdock Elementary School where she taught first grade for 26 years. During that time she made lifelong friends and touched the hearts of countless children, retiring in 2014. She was always proud to be a fourth generation Glenn County farmer and started growing almonds after she retired. In the last few years she enjoyed spending time working in her orchard alongside her family and favorite dog.

Adele loved socializing; she always enjoyed a funny story, a good joke, or a funny prank, like her notorious cream puffs. But only a select few were unlucky enough to have experienced them. Adele loved attending church and was always donating her time and energy. She could be found most Sunday afternoons taking a drive and watching the local crops grow. Adele touched the hearts of many, her faith was strong, she was admired and loved.

Adele is survived by her husband Gary Rumiano, her children Mike Baber, Melissa Baber Moss, husband Jon Moss; Julie Ann Rumiano, David Rumiano; grandchildren Brett, Molly and Brad Baber, Maverick and Jett Moss; her brother Leonard Kaiser and sister-in-law Marsha.

Join the family for a graveside memorial service at Willows Cemetery 800 East Wood Street Saturday January 23, 2021 at 11am. Followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Artois Fire Department Hall, 740 Main Street Artois for an indoor, outdoor celebration.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Willows First Luthern, Willows Faith Bible, or Lake Almanor Community Church.
