‘Stop the steal’? We already have

CPAC, a Collection of Perverted, Annoying Conspirators, recently gathered in Orlando to celebrate gas lighting the 2020 presidential election, the January 6 insurrection at our Capitol, the Democratic Party, the media, and anything else that didn’t adhere to their thinking.

White Evangelical Christians,

who believe God sent Trump to save America, make up the core of Trump’s base, worshipped a “fatted cow” statue that looked like a cross between a dwarf and a swamp toad wearing shorts that disgraced the American flag that had been gleefully wheeled in at the start of their festival.

Trump ignored the pandemic when it struck, and continues to ignore the 515,000 dead Americans, the 10 million unemployed, the 37 million adults and children who have no food, the 14 million who have no money to pay their rent, and still adored by the “Christians” in his base.

As he took the stage they cheered their “golden idol” while he repeated the big lie, “Stop the Steal”, a chant we heard from the frothing mouths of the manic mob of Trump’s “true believers” who stormed our Capitol, assaulting police officers, killing one and injuring 144 as they hunted members of congress, violence dripping from their perverted souls. An assault on democracy as the “law and order” president gleefully watched the carnage on TV while hiding from view in the White House.

Stop the steal? It was. Sixty state and federal courts and 81 million American voters stopped Donald J. Trump from stealing the election.
