• Approval of development agreement between the city and JP Real Estate Investments, LLC, Courtesy Auomotive, to defer installation of city standard frontage improvements with the initial stages of development of a new car dealership.
• Approving an implementation plan contracted with Dixon Resources Service for managed parking in Upper Park and allocating $108,000 during the 2021-2022Capital Project Budget cycle;
• Approve additional movement of funds for projects in a report presented by Scott Dowell, Administrative Services Director, from projected sales tax revenue.
• Approve modifying the city budget for the Chico Police Department to utilize onetime savings from salary and benefits due to frozen positions for technology
and equipment upgrades to move $315,000 to our non-reoccurring operating accounts from salaries and benefits budget.
• Approve amending the 2020-2021 budget to modify the Contracted Management Employees’ Salary Table for the addition of a Deputy City Manager.
• The proposed resolution, based on the results of a secret ballot election, certifies that formal recognition should be granted to the Chico Police Management Employees
• Approve recommendation from Bidwell Park & Playground Commission to approve renaming and designating Teichert Ponds as the “Peace Ponds Nature Area”
• The Fire Department has applied for two Assistance to Firefighters Grants in relation to Operations and
Safety and Vehicle Acquisition. Should the Fire Department receive a Notice of Award, the Fire Chief is requesting the council accept both grants to allow for the purchase of new fire hose and fittings and a new Medium Rescue Vehicle. • Authorize Coolidge to sign the letter of intent to lease city-owned land to Ampla Health.
