Biden, Democrats leading the ‘cancel’ charge

-

Respectfully, I disagree! Cancel culture advocates went about destroying certain statues. It would have been appropriate to install them in museums but that was not the perceived well intentioned goal. In past times, such objectionable images served as a cautionary remembrance of past events not to be repeated. Germany, I am sure, has vestiges of its past for cautionary purposes, not to exalt Nazism.

Each year during Black History month, one of TV’s channels replays the series “Roots” in its original 1977 format, with a reference to potential offense by viewers. Still it is shown. If one does not like it, just change the channel. The same for Dr. Seuss books, Disney movies and all images everywhere.

As to voting limitations, requiring all legitimate citizens to abide by rules, including identification and timely registration, is not meant to cancel peoples’ right to vote but to legitimize their vote. The competitive disadvantage, alluded to by the attorney described, is attributed to allowing false, improper or multiple votes to be cast. This is not cancelling the right to vote by those, other than those that should not be voting in the first place. Republicans are not fearful of Democracy but advocates for it. As to wealth being a determinate for party loyalty, show me which Democrats are not millionaires. The forgotten Middle Americans are not wealthy but ardent patriots.

Judging by his actions, President Biden and all of the Democrats are the ones attempting to cancel democracy.
