MARCH FOR TATIANA
Friends, family of missing Oroville woman ‘never going to give up’
OROVILLE » Jalissa Mosley has known Tatiana Dugger since the two were in preschool.
“She’s always been my best friend,” Mosley said. “I love her to death.”
Mosley and many close friends and family of Dugger marched through the streets of downtown Oroville to spread the message that people are still looking for her.
Dugger is a 19-year old Oroville woman who went missing in Oakland back in January.
“I just hope she knows we’re doing all this for her,” Mosley said while wiping away tears. “We all love her so much. We miss her and we need her home now.”
On Saturday afternoon, the group gathered in front of the Oroville Municipal Auditorium. Those in attendance wore red, Dugger’s favorite color, and held signs with Dugger’s picture. Cookies and facemasks were sold by Dugger’s family with the proceeds going toward a reward for any information about Dugger’s whereabouts.
Daneen Dugger, Tatiana’s older sister, said that everyone who attended Saturday’s event cares about Tatiana and wishes she could make it home safely.
“We’ve never been in this situation before. It’s all unchartered territory,” Daneen Dugger said. “We’re just trying to do the best that we can to make sure that

everyone knows she’s still missing and we’re still looking for her.”
Kisha Loomis had known Tatiana Dugger her entire life. Loomis described her little cousin.
“Just not knowing where she’s at if she’s OK is the hardest part. If she’s cold, if she’s lonely, if she’s still alive. We don’t know. We have no answers,” Loomis said while trying to keep her composure. “I just want her to know we’re never going to give up. We’re never going to give up looking for her.”
A missing persons report was filed on Jan. 9 with the Oakland Police Department. Oakland Police requested that the Butte County Sheriff’s Office take over the investigation since Dugger’s family lives in Butte County. It was previously reported by this newspaper that cell phone records showed Tatiana Dugger’s last location was in Oakland and that the Oroville native had moved to Los Angeles about five months ago.
Dugger is described as African American, 5-foot-7 and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Butte County Sheriff’s Office detectives at 530-538-7671 or 530-538-7322, or the Oakland Police Department’s Special Victims Unit/Missing Persons Unit at 510-2383641.
