Checking the pulse of recent letters
In recent letters … BULLSEYE: Sean Costello’s heartfelt recompense to William Wong Foey was wonderful. So is Ty Sedule’s. Raised in Richmond, Virginia believing Robert E Lee a hero, he attended West Point. After taking his oath he came to understand Lee and the Confederate Army were enemies of the US. Now a retired General, he leads the effort to rid our military of Confederate references.
MISFIRE: Chuck Jasper admonishes us for falling into the media trap of believing that a mere 10 minutes of a 200-pound officer on a man’s neck could have health impacts and asks us to wait for the victim-shaming stage of the trial with references to drug use to learn the one true cause of death upon which he hangs his hat. Shame or Sham?
MISFIRE: J MacT wasn’t much concerned during the last four years, about the 30,000+ lies or the Epic Pandemic Failure which he also lied about.; but sure is wanting transparency now! HYPOCRISY!
MISFIRE: Mr Ochsner, I’d have more time to worry about potential conflicts of interest among the CUSD board were I not so busy worrying about science-denying locals threatening recalls of experienced board members to bow to the inexperienced ones and “open schools fully now.” They continue to ignore facts: Just last week, Massachusetts, Michigan and Minnesota already fully opened are reporting variant outbreaks among high school students and surrounding communities. (New) Ancient Chinese proverb: “Hurry, Hurry, … Ooops!”
