Acts of kindness fill home
As you enter their home you will notice parquet floors that lead into the large living room with natural wood vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors and a welcoming wood burning stove.
Little acts of kindness abound in their home. A portion of the furnishings were bought new and a portion was given by generous friends.
Don and Carol Vick have a large family and many friends, this lovely space welcomes and accommodate many.
Having lost all her Christmas ornaments in the fire, Carol is starting new with a stunning tree decorated with red ornaments and red cardinal birds.
To the left of the entry is a sunny cheerful breakfast room surrounded by a bay window, a round glass table with floral upholstery chairs sets on a beautiful coordinating floral rug.
Across is the large kitchen that leads to a formal dining room. Notice the table setting in the dining room.
Carol recently opened a high cupboard in the kitchen. There she noticed an entire set of Christmas dishes. There was a note attached which read, “From my house to yours — enjoy.” It was another act of kindness left by the former owner of the home.
Off the kitchen is a cozy TV room that looks out to a spacious covered patio, perfect for entertaining.
Carol has many talents including quilting and painting.
Carol's delightful studio is light and bright, the perfect setting for her to create. Through the home you will see beautiful colorful paintings. They are all Carol's creations!
