Military Industrial Complex is winning the day

-

Responding to Martha Claudio 5/28, certainly the Russians are bombing buildings used by Ukrainian soldiers to fire at Russians. The Ukrainians know that if they can entice Russians to bomb a school or hospital they can shout “Russians are war criminals” and the US will send them more lethal weaponry.

Recently, most media covered George W. Bush saying “the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq — I mean Ukraine”… Bush, Dick Cheney et al are big time war criminals.

Russia’s military operation in Ukraine was justified because the US had been arming Ukraine since 2014, wanting to provoke this war, and did not want negotiation to prevent war. The Russians are likely fighting with less brutality than the US during its unjustified invasion of Iraq. Remember the gross US sexual abuse and torture at Abu Ghraib and at “black sites” and the US using depleted uranium munitions in civilian areas, resulting in thousands of horrible birth defects in Iraq.

If anyone should be tried for crimes against humanity, it is Bush, though Obama, too, had an unnecessarily criminally militarized foreign policy.

To Scott Paulo, I am confident in my fact-based assessment that the US is engaged in its long desired proxy war with Russia.

With no dissenting voices allowed in establishment media, most people believe the Hate Putin/Russia hysteria propaganda, even more so than they believed the CIA lies of Iraqi WMD.

The Military Industrial Complex has won, and Democrats are the War Party.
