Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Kokomo is one of sixty-eight independent bottlers who keep The Coca-Cola Company local in every corner of the country. Since 1907 we have proudly served North Central Indiana with the best brands in the world. Our Chairman, Mr. E.P. Severns, and his family have been a constant part of many communities since 1935. Mr. Severns enjoyed a lifetime of summers at Lake Maxinkuckee in Marshall County. He graduated from Culver Summer Naval School in 1946. He and his late wife Virginia spent the summers with their children Craig, Tim, Betse, and Susan around the lake and academy. In 1977, E.P. Severns purchased the Coca-Cola franchise in Plymouth connecting the existing territory in Logansport and Kokomo. At that time, the independent franchise produced Coca-Cola in glass and plastic packages at the Kokomo plant and operated a canning line in Plymouth. From 1977 to the early 1990s Plymouth produced various brands in aluminum cans to many regional bottlers in the area. In 2005 Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Kokomo shutdown its production lines in Kokomo to increase efficiency and add warehouse space for innovative brands and packages. Today the Company operates two distribution centers in Plymouth and Kokomo with a combined 90 employees. From Lapaz to Cicero and all points in between, our Company serves fourteen counties in North Central Indiana.

Mr. Francis Ellert and his wife Susan reside in Culver. They enjoy all that Marshall County has to offer with their four children Betse, Pierce, Fritz, and Cabot. From the beautiful beaches at Lake Maxinkuckee to riding bikes on the Greenway trail, Marshall County provides many attractions. If you enjoy activities outdoors the Potawatomi Wildlife Park is worth the visit. The marina offers boat rentals and tours of Lake Maxinkuckee. Sailing lessons and stand up paddle board events are available throughout the summer. Head to Quick’s Lanes for a family bowling night. If you prefer a round of golf visit Swan Lake Resort or Pretty Lake Golf Club.
