FAST COMPANY’S ANNUAL INNOVATION FESTIVAL IS WHERE THE WORLD’S FOREMOST INNOVATORS AND CHANGE-MAKERS CONVENE TO SHAPE TOMORROW.
In November 2019, nearly 5,000 attendees gathered in New York City for five days of purpose-driven inspiration and networking. Between a bustling festival hub, captivating main stage keynotes and panels, and more than 85 Fast Tracks, the festival ignited fresh thinking, and relationships. Attendees curated their own agendas, mixing creativity, design, entrepreneurship, leadership, social good, and tech for one-of-a-kind experiences. Plan now: the sixth annual Fast Company Innovation Festival will be headquartered in Lower Manhattan from October 5-9, 2020! 1. Director, producer, and Academy Award-winning writer Jordan Peele and Chairman of Universal Entertainment Group Donna Langley at the Festival’s Main Stage. 2. Weightwatchers President and CEO Mindy Grossman at the Forum Stage on how to revitalize a legacy brand through culture, community, and technology. 3. Attendees enjoyed a daily happy hour at The Hub. 4. In the Transportation 2025 panel, presented by Cummins, experts discussed the future of transportation and new innovations along with the challenges and opportunities they present. 5. Fashion innovator Dapper Dan opened up about his inspiring business and creative journey at the Festival’s Forum Stage. 6. PWC and Chipotle sat down to discuss how to drive change within an organization by revolutionizing the way employees work and connect, during a panel presented by PWC. 7. Lincoln, ROOM, and Calm hosted daily meditation sessions at The Hub. 8. In the Design Your Own Disruption panel, presented by Mckinsey & Company, experts shared lessons on how to build innovative new companies that leverage the incumbent’s advantage. 9. The All-new 2020 Lincoln Aviator was on display for attendees at The Hub. 10. The Future of Wearables: Unlocking Wellness Potential breakout session at The Hub discussed the personalization of wearable technology and how it can benefit your health. 11. The cofounders of the popular deli Call Your
Mother conducted a food tasting and shared their insights on where food and retail is headed next. 12. In conversation with GOAT CEO Eddy Lu, The Global Influence of Sneakers breakout session at The Hub discussed the global influence of the sneaker and street wear culture. 13. Attendees experienced Mailchimp’s interactive activation that highlighted their new all-inone Marketing Platform. 14. American Ballet Theatre hosted a studio visit and presented a new program to inspire ideas for the creation of new work. 15. On the Humanity of Design panel, presented by Lincoln, design and UX experts discussed the importance of building products with people in mind in order to drive business success. 16. At the brand Highsnobiety’s Fast Track, attendees considered how brands could win in an age of ‘hype’ and sustain credibility in a saturated market. 17. Caldwell Factory hosted the annual Innovation by Design (IBD) party, celebrating the success of the awardwinning design companies. 18.
