Regularly enjoying fruit, veggies and fish may tame breakouts, say Italian scientists. They found that women’s odds of acne doubled when they ate these foods fewer than four days a week. Why? Diets low in fresh produce and seafood (and high in refined fare) increase acne-inducing inflammation. What’s more, minerals and phytochemicals in these foods ease anxiety to nix the stress that can cause breakouts.
