“I kind of go with a Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly kind of look—a great pair of jeans or slacks, a great fitting turtleneck sweater or blouse, great pair of glasses and a nice little pair of boots or sandals,” says Cheryl, who notes that there’s one key to making it all look pulled together: “It’s so important when buying clothing to think about what to look for in the right order. They say, ‘fit, fabric, fashion.’ Have a lovely fit, a beautiful fabric and then fashion is the third thing. Because a lot of things that are cool in the moment can be wrong. But in this order, you won’t go wrong as often.”
