Jessica’s key to grilled cheese with 83% less fat
For grilled cheese that’s loaded with slimming phytonutrients, Food Swings author Jessica Seinfeld replaces half the cheese with carrot puree. “It’s a really nice way to get more vegetables into your body,” says Jessica. To make: In a bowl, mix 1⁄2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1⁄2 cup of carrot puree and 1 Tbs. of butter. Spread onto 2 slices of bread; sandwich each with second bread slice. Cook in hot skillet 4 to 5 min. per side.
