Make a stained carafe look like new again

This time of year, your family loves sipping iced tea, but all the brew you’ve been making has left your favorite carafe discolored. The save: Pour 4 Tbs. of salt into the pitcher, then add a dozen ice cubes. Shake the carafe with some force for a few minutes to swish the mixture around, then dump and rinse with water. The combination of the abrasive salt and ice cubes will scrub away even tough tea stains.
