Fun in the sun

Dunstable, England— Elizabeth, the 9-monthold Asian Elephant calf named after Queen Elizabeth II, couldn’t wait to check out the new Centre for Elephant Care at the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. After meandering around the 7,500-square-foot indoor area, she headed outside to play in the 3-footdeep sand mound, tossing the dirt on her coat to cool off and keep insects away.
