“My chronic pain disappeared!”

-

Looking at a photo of herself holding her newest grandchild, Adda Harris burst into tears. I’ve become so

heavy, she realized. There is no way I’ll live to see my grandkids grow up.

“My great-grandma lived to 94,” says Adda, who hoped for that kind of longevity. But her weight, which piled on after a hysterectomy, put that goal in jeopardy. “I thought I was eating healthy, so it was frustrating.” Heaped onto the weight were health concerns including diabetes, fatty liver, chronic pain and brain fog. “Recalling names was becoming difficult,” she reveals. “I was a hot mess!”

Then Adda met Steven

Gundry, M.D., and when he asked if she’d like to try his nutrition protocol, she said, “What do I have to lose but weight?”She began to steer clear of grains like corn and wheat and instead ate organic veggies along with grassfed beef and foods rich in resistant starch, like asparagus and potatoes.

Adda’s body responded to the changes. Her pain and cloudy thinking vanished within four weeks. What’s more, her blood sugar improved so much, she was able to get off her diabetes meds.

These days,

Adda has traded her size 18 pants for a size 8. “I cry happy tears when I think about what Dr.

Gundry has done for me.”

Best of all: “I can enjoy my six grandbabies!”
