With so many to-do’s to at­tend to this sea­son, we don’t al­ways have time to pre­pare home­made hors d’oeu­vres for fam­ily and friends who drop by. That’s why we keep our freezer stocked with heat-and-eat ap­pe­tiz­ers that are per­fect for no-stress en­ter­tain­ing. But when we saw that many of our go-to prod­ucts are made with soy­bean oil, we had to think twice. The prob­lem: Con­sum­ing high amounts of the oil has been linked to di­a­betes and a 25 per­cent in­crease in weight gain. We can’t have that, so we hit the freezer aisle to stock up on tasty op­tions sans soy­bean oil. Here’s to health­ier munch­ing!
