Le­mon-Ginger Zinger

1 (12") piece fresh

ginger, peeled

1 le­mon, juiced

1 cin­na­mon stick 1 tsp. raw honey

In small pot, bring 11⁄ cups

2 water to a boil with ginger. Add 2 Tbs. le­mon juice, juiced le­mon halves and cin­na­mon stick; steep 10 min. Strain; mix in honey. Gar­nish with le­mon slice, if de­sired. Makes 1 serv­ing
