The fastest way to form perfect meatballs

Prepping meatballs tends to take longer than we’d like since it takes time to carefully shape them to the same size so they cook evenly. But our test kitchen director came up with a savvy shortcut: She rolls the meat mixture into a log, then cuts the log into equal pieces and rolls them into balls. Voilà—evenly shaped meatballs in minutes!
